"It barely even feels like selling" – the FlowSiivous experience

In a growing company, time is always in short supply. Client work, day-to-day operations, and developing the business easily consume all your attention – and new customer acquisition tends to slip into the background.

Sales matters, but I'm also hands-on out in the field myself – and there's often too little time for that side of the work. Sales isn't exactly my natural home turf either.

FlowSiivous, founded in 2022, is a fast-growing cleaning company offering commercial cleaning services across Southwest Finland as well as in Lahti, the Helsinki metropolitan area, Kotka, and Loviisa. Its services include office, warehouse, industrial, post-construction, and move-out cleaning, along with cleaning services for retail and commercial spaces. The company prides itself on flexible service, quick response times, and quality craftsmanship.

According to founder Katariina Saarenpää, the goal from day one has been to grow in a controlled, deliberate way:

As the business expanded, finding new customers beyond the existing network became a real need. The challenge was to solve it in a way that fits a busy everyday reality – but still feels and sounds genuinely like FlowSiivous.

Doing the work – with a human touch

In early 2026, FlowSiivous brought in Zefram to support new customer acquisition. Zefram's job is to identify companies with cleaning needs that fit FlowSiivous, build a compelling case for why working together would be worthwhile, and reach out to them by email.

Zefram was given a direction and got to work. It quickly became clear that sales activity started happening almost on its own.

The value Zefram brings is close to having a salesperson on payroll. It quietly does its work in the background, while still keeping that distinctly us, human touch — which is absolutely our top priority.

What stands out in FlowSiivous's experience is this: efficiency, systematic processes, and technology should never come at the cost of meeting customers in a personal, human way.

The right skills in the right place

A company (usually) exists because the founder has a real passion for doing something. That passion shows up in the quality of the work, in new ideas, and in every customer interaction.
